Our founder is a Mexican American originally from northern California.

Andrea Salazar, moved to the Carribbean and founded the company Riviera Maya Catamarans over 18 years ago. Her team is made up of a fantastic group of people. The staff is from USA, Argentina, Puerto Vallarta Mexico, the Yucatan, Canada, and the Riviera Maya;. 

Our staff being from all these places allow us not only to have amazing local knowledge but also an immense understanding of the needs and wants of our international clients.  Our goal is to make your one day or multi day sailing adventure to best possible experience you can have. 

We decided to continue sharing our love for Mexico, and sailing by opening up Puerto Vallarta Catamarans. Working with smaller local owners, who offer amazing quality boats, give us an immense amount of joy and pride in our work.  

We inspect each boat on a regular basis and make sure that the service, food, maintenance and quality of the catamaran is high enough that we would put you, our most VIP clients aboard.
